Peer to Peer Mentoring: “First Step” Meeting

A 2-day event was held with the support of Rotary Club with the participation of Anatolian Rotaract club members as well as university students. The aim was to introduce and promote ku akran model to the participants.  In order to disseminate the ku akran mission they were expected to be equipped for taking active role in ku akran events. On the first day of the program we discussed about basic life skills such as strategic thinking, decision making, empathy, active listening, self-expression, motivation, persuasion, initiative taking, goal setting, respect for diversity, and resilience by using experiential learning tools. On the second day we made collage activities about ku akran model and shared lessons learned from two days event. 50 people participated in this event.
